Cat Eye Sunglasses for Big, Small, Square and Round Faces

Cat eye sunglasses were first introduced in early 60’s. This was in the era when sunglasses were becoming fashion accessories on the top of sun protection devices or vision correction attributes. As more fashion brands were entering the market the fashion aspect of glasses grew faster than the flash. After aviators and round glasses, cat eye was the third shape  widely introduced to the market in Europe and America. Cat eye glasses lasted for about 20 years, then outgrew themselves. In the last few years, they made unexpected comeback.

Most of people did not have a very good reaction, well it’s cool, but too old. But as designers keep including cat eye glasses shapes in their collections, the new-old trend is gaining momentum.

Many people underestimate the power of cat eye shape. Cat eye sunglasses fit every head. If your head is too big, or too round, you would normally try to stay away from square sunglasses. Or if your face is too long, you were told that square or round works for your face. Well, in fact, cat eye works for any face because of the angles on the eye brow line. So, if you have square face or round face or even long face, cat eye sunglasses will bring a nice balance. Not only, cat eye sunglasses will take the attention away from the face shape and attract more concentration towards the style, brand and color of the actual sunglasses.
